Is there a term you would prefer to see used over “adoptable”, such as “homeless” or “rescue”?

Someone’s always going to be offended by something. I personally don’t see anything wrong with the term when referring to dog rescue.

I don’t. It does bother me when people say ‘I adopted my dog from a breeder,’ because I feel like it confuses the issue.
