FULL PELT aims to serve as a diverse educational resource for the general tumblr community; from the average lay person seeking your standard rudimentary information, to experienced trainers and otherwise keen parties interested in enhancing their knowledge or discussing advanced topics.
We hope to pay homage to the harmony inspired by successful, mutually-symbiotic human-animal partnerships—those founded on trust, communication and collaboration—as captured through art and the written word, in its many forms.

Hello followers! The time has come for me to ask for your help.

This is Niko, he was shot in the face during a home invasion. The owner, whom was also shot, did not have money to pay for his surgery (which ended up becoming a facial reconstruction) but we helped him anyway.

We are accepting donations to help cover Niko’s surgery costs and continuing care.

We can only accept large donations from you guys because I have so many followers and I don’t want to drive the staff crazy with dozens of $5 donations. It takes time away from other patients to charge money to the account.
